WHAT WE'RE DEVELOPING

A Blood Test for an Underdiagnosed Heart Condition

Transthyretin cardiac amyloidosis (ATTR-CM) occurs when proteins build up in heart tissue, causing heart failure, responsible for 500,000 deaths each year in the U.S. and 5 million globally. Five FDA-approved treatments exist, but no blood test can identify patients before permanent damage occurs. That's the gap we're closing.

Early Detection

Identifies ATTR-CM at an earlier stage, before the buildup of proteins in tissue and permanent damage occurs.

Broad Accessibility

Built to extend beyond specialized centers, reaching patients and providers to support faster, more informed care.

Minimally Invasive

A standard blood draw, requiring no biopsy.

ABOUT
AMYGO SOLUTIONS

Our vision is to close the gap between the laboratory and patients.

By empowering biotech innovation with advanced solutions, we're developing diagnostics that catch systemic amyloidosis before it causes irreversible damage.

OUR LEADERSHIP

Structural biology and cryo-EM expertise, driving the innovation of new tools that enable early detection of amyloid diseases.

Publications

Our team's research on transthyretin amyloidosis, published in peer-reviewed journals.

Detection of ATTR Aggregates in the Plasma of Polyneuropathic Patients with ATTR-V30M Amyloidosis

A case study applying AmyGo's detection method to a patient with a specific hereditary form of transthyretin amyloidosis, extending the technology's use beyond the primary patient population studied in the team's earlier work.

Amyloid, 2024

Detection of Circulating Transthyretin Amyloid Aggregates in Plasma: A Novel Biomarker for Transthyretin Amyloidosis

Circulation, 2024

The team's foundational paper, introducing a novel probe capable of detecting transthyretin amyloid aggregates directly in a patient's blood, the scientific basis for AmyGo's diagnostic approach.

Structure-Based Probe Reveals the Presence of Large Transthyretin Aggregates in Plasma of ATTR Amyloidosis Patients

JACC: Basic to Translational Science, 2024

A deeper look at the structure of the aggregates found in patient plasma, revealing new insight into how the disease progresses and expanding the case for blood-based detection.

AmyGo Solutions team in action

Between the laboratory and the patient lies a gap that costs lives. We're closing it with early detection for the once thought rare disease that damages the heart.
